A good paced punchy presentation helps you to get your message across.

In the eighties I used the 1976 video “Can We Please Have That the Right Way Round? “ from John Cleese in a series of trainings.

In the 22 minute video, John Cleese demonstrates the importance of planning, designing your slides, and familiarizing yourself with equipment prior to a presentation.

Although 1976 is a while ago, and John Cleese used an old fashioned slide projector in the video, the tips still apply today. The Presentation Tips you can download are based on lessons in this video with a few additions.


Emotional Bank Account

The Emotional Bank Account is a metaphor for the relationship we have with other people. Our actions result in deposits on or withdrawals (sometimes unintentionally) from the relationship bank account we have with people we work or live with.

I compiled this sheet after a great and fun leadership training with Remco Claassen in 2008, which was largely based on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephan Covey.
